A remembrance of the battle of Beersheba, which took place on 31st October 1917. This was the final phase of the third battle of Gaza. It was the famous Australian mounted charge, the  4th and 12th Light Horse Regiment that stormed through the Turkish defences. The famous capture of Beersheba and its wells enabled advancement.
